Water Fun!

We are finally HOME!!!  We had an awesome vacation but good to be home!  We went from Georgia to Williamsburg Va to go to Busch Gardens and Water Country.  We had so much fun!  I couldn't wait to scrap so as soon as I got unpacked worked on this page.

Some Pictures from our trip

We are enjoying our vacation!  We drove 12 hours with 4 kids (under the age of 7).  I have to admit they were pretty good for such a long trip.  We left Pa at 3am and got to Georgia at 3pm.  Here is a few pictures.

June Take Twelve

Well today is Monday June 18th, which means it's my birthday!!  I'm not crazy about getting older but you can't change how old you are just how old you feel right?!  We are official on vacation right now so my post will not be everyday.  And when I do post it might be just pictures.

So now on to my new layout.  This is my June Take Twelve layout for Ella Publishing.  This month I went with the theme "Outside".  It was rainy at first so I thought maybe I was going to have to change it but if ended up be a beautiful day.  I used the June kit from Citrus Twist.

 This is a close up of my tiger lilies, the road in front of our house, my mail box (it's been hit by a snow plow a few times), and a snake.  The snake was in our back yard.  I knew it wasn't harmful so I got close enough to get his picture.

This is my rose bush, raspberry plants, tomato plant, and our hose.

This is Hannah looking at a rolly polly bug, side walk chalk from VBS, Hannah digging, and Noah jumping in the puddles.

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful Dad's out there!!  I worked on some cards before we left using the June Citrus Twist kit.  This kit is perfect for Father's Day cards! 

I just wanted to say how much my hubby means to me as a dad to our children!  He is always there for them and me.  He takes time to do special things with them and they know how much he loves them! 

This one I made for the kids to give to their day (my hubby).

 This one is for my Dad.  And the "Fore" is a pun since he is a golfer.

Mixed Media Canvas

So excited for this weekend!!  We are packing to go on a 2 week trip!!  We have never gone for that long and I can't wait!!  So before we go I wanted to share the canvas I made using the new Mixed Media kit that Sarah is now carrying at The Paper Bakery.  This month sold out already so if you want one make sure to sign up here.  In these kits you actual get a canvas to work with.  And of course all the other fun messy things like paint, mist, and masks.

Today I'm here to share another new layout using the June Citrus Twist kit.  Can't tell you how much I love theses colors.  This is my little Hannah.  She started climbing this tall ladder before I knew it and about gave me a heart attack.  When I got to her she was at the top and acted like a pro at climbing.  She did it several more times. 

I used the string in the kit for my lines for journaling.

I punched some confetti!

Exciting News and a Layout

Today I wanted to share some fun news with you all and share about something new.  I was invited to join a brand new kit club called Citrus Twist.  This kit club is all about having fun and added a little sassy to your scrapbooking.  The owner is an award winning graphic designer, Trina Craig.  And let me tell you I received my first 2 kits already and she knows how to put a kit together!!  You get a nice mix of papers and embellishments and my favorite is stamp set. 

Here is my very first layout using the June Kit "Summer Boardwalk"

 Look at all the fun embellishments.  And I machine stitched with every setting I had. 

 Love the MME stamp set. And see the washi tape?...That is in the kit too!

 I used the American Crafts sticker that said "joy" and put a "B" for "Boy".
