Scrapbook Generations and Fancy Pants Designs

CREATE is a free monthly digital magazine published by Scrapbook Generation, a scrapbook store in Springfield, MO. The first issue, 223 pages, launched this week in conjunction with the opening of Scrapbook Generation's expanded, full-service online store.

The design team for Fancy Pants Designs used four sketches by Allison Davis and Debbie Sanders, creating 43 projects featured in the magazine. Design team members provided information about using the sketches, as well as interesting tidbits about their projects. The four sketches are included in the magazine and are available as a free download to readers.

CREATE also includes some fun "inside" facts about Fancy Pants Designs, the company.

While it focuses on sketches, the magazine covers other topics of interest to scrapbookers and cardmakers, like mini-albums, journaling, techniques, and more. There is also a readers gallery and a call for submissions for the March issue.

Fun News, A Layout to Share & A Giveaway

I decided to take some time off from posting to catch up on some family time and of course I have some projects in the works.  So now that things are starting to calm down around here I wanted to do a FUN post. 

First some fun news, I will be rejoining Elle's Studio as a Contributing Designer.  I'm so excited about this opportunity!  I had a blast when I was on her team last year so of course I jumped at the chance to work with her and her products again.  FYI there is a DT call going on right now so be sure to check Elle's Studio blog you won't want to miss it.

Also on another fun note, I received an email from Jodi over at Fancy Pants Designs (while she was at CHA) and said that Scrapbook Cards & Today wanted to take one of my layouts with them to publish in their fall magazine. I was so excited because this was my first publication with this magazine.  So here is the layout using the new Collecting Moments line from Fancy Pants.

Fancy Pants Designs CHA

Sorry I have been a little late on posting.  Summer has had our family so busy, but a good busy :)  Today I'm excited to share with you 2 layouts I created for the Fancy Pants Designs CHA Booth.  This is my first time getting to send layouts to CHA.  I'm hoping to get to go next year.

For this layout I used the new Collecting Moments line. I just LOVE the colors in this line!



For this layout I used the Happy Go Lucky Line. One of my favorite items from this line is the buttons and clothespins.

Citrus Twist May Reveal & a Peek

Happy Mother's Day to all you wonderful Moms out there!! 

Today is reveal day over at Citrus Twist Kits!  This kit is one of my favorite by far!!  The colors go so great together!  I will say there are only a few kits left and surprisingly there are a few Embellie Kits left.  I highly recommed the Embellie Kit it has these amazing orange velvet rubons & fabulous brads that are so stickin cute!  There is more than that but those are my 2 favorite items you have to have!!

A Fun Day ~ Fancy Pants Designs

Happy Tuesday!!  Today I wanted to share a layout I created using the new Fancy Pants Designs line called "Down by the Shore".  This line has those wonderful primary colors I love so much and is perfect to scrap those boys of mine.  I also love that you can use it for beach pictures or just every day pictures.

I'm so excited to announce I'm one of the new Pocket Chicks over at Fancy Pants Designs!!  I have loved this company since they began and am so honored to part of such an amazing team!

Fancy Pants Mini Album

This weekend I took some time to scrap a mini album.  I LOVE making mini albums but don't do them as often as I like.   I love the arty feel a mini album gives.  It's fun to layer and add all the little fun embellishments.  To make this mini album I used Fancy Pants The Good Life line.  You all know I love those rich reds, yellows, and throw in a teal like color and I'm in heaven!  This album is made of envelopes :)  I took a temple and cut the papers and folded them to make envelopes to hold my journaling.
