2 Sketches and Layouts
Here is the GDT sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. We were to use 3 Manufactures and 3 different embellishments. I used paper from Basic Grey, Webster's Pages, and Hambly. The embellishments I used were brads, felt shape, and ribbon. I used the kit from Urban Anthology. Ty loves eating snow and playing in it.
Here is a this weeks sketch over at Sketchy Thursdays. I just took these pictures the other day we got 3 feet of snow. It was our first snow of this season. The kids loved it and I love taking pictures. This is Noah and this is his first time in snow he didn't know what to think.

Here is a layout I did using the Sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. This is a layout of my son's first day of preschool. I did not use any scrapbook paper. It is all made with his art work from school. I had fun reusing something. Hope this gives some of you an idea for your kids many projects.

Wind and a Fall Layout
Today was a very windy day. We had a big tree branch fall in our yard it about hit the porch. Here is a picture.
On a scrappy note, I worked on my layout for Sketchy Thursdays. This is Faith jumping in leaves. She could wait to jump in the leaves. She called her dad at work one day to tell him to buy her a rake.

Time to Vote Again
Today is a beautiful day here in Pa. The sun is shining and the temperature is 62 degrees. This is a great Fall day. I have been working on my layout for this weeks Urban Anthology's Got Talent Challenge and this week we were to use old paper and a technique. My technique was on bleaching and I have it listed below. If you have a chance PLEASE vote for my layout it is the one under my3blessings. Here is my layout and here is the technique.
Bleaching Technique
Supplies you will need:
Bleach
Cardstock (darker colors work better)
Chalks
Stamps
Glimmer Mist(optional)
First put a little Clorox on a paper towel just enough to make it wet.
Here is what it looks like after you stamp them. Let them dry before chalk them
Then take your stamp and press it on the bleach soaked paper towel.
Then press your stamp on the cardstock.
Here is what it looks like after you stamp them. Let them dry before chalk them
Then take your chalks and color them. I used several colors on one to make it look more like a real fall leaf.
Then I cut mine out. You can actually just do them on the cardstock or cut them out. Leaving them on your cardstock would be like making your own patterned paper.
Then I used some Glimmer Mist to add a little sparkle.
Here are the finished leaves.

Noah Walking & Urban Anthology DT Call
Noah started walking last night I have pictures to show. He would sit on the learning chair and get up and take a few steps. It was so cute. He is trying to do more today. I have been cleaning my entire house. I started in the kid's rooms and worked my way to the outside. Wow I got a lot done.
I just read their blog Urban Anthology is having a "Urban Anthology's Got Talent" Design Team Call. This is exciting. I tried the last time but with Noah being so little I didn't have the time. But now that he is bigger I do have the time. I'm going to go for this and pray this is in God's will for me. It will be fun!

Getting Ready
I'm getting ready to have yard sale tomorrow. Pricing is actually fun for me. I have everything priced to sale. I don't want to pack any of it again.
I worked on a layout yesterday and I'm really happy with it so I thought I would share it. I going to work on my layout for Sketchy Thursdays. I used Label Tulip kit. Did I mention I won last week?!! I'm so excited. I also submitted to be on her design team. Praying that will be in His will for me. But we all know He holds the plans to our lives and the timing of everything.

Here is another sketch from Sketchy Thursdays by Diana This is my favorite of the 3 I have done. This is another one of Noah helping himself to corn that hasn't even been cooked yet. Not all of my layouts are of Noah I'm just trying to get his album caught up and sketches help (thanks Diana).
The weather here is just beautiful it is like fall. Can't wait to see the leaves change and get some fall pictures.

Sketchy Thursdays sketch
Here is another layout I did for Sketchy Thursdays. This is Noah being cute. I used College Press Jackson Lodge patterned paper and Kaiser rhinestones.
On another note, I started canning peaches today. I'm hoping to finish them tomorrow. Besides making jelly this is the only other thing I can. Faith likes to help. I had to take her to the doctors today. She has been complaining of her belly hurting. She had an x ray so will see. Noah is teething and very crabby.
