Here is a layout I did using the Sketch from Sketchy Thursdays. This is a layout of my son's first day of preschool. I did not use any scrapbook paper. It is all made with his art work from school. I had fun reusing something. Hope this gives some of you an idea for your kids many projects.

Wind and a Fall Layout
Today was a very windy day. We had a big tree branch fall in our yard it about hit the porch. Here is a picture.
On a scrappy note, I worked on my layout for Sketchy Thursdays. This is Faith jumping in leaves. She could wait to jump in the leaves. She called her dad at work one day to tell him to buy her a rake.

Beautiful Day!
Wow! Today is so nice out. It is warm in the sun but a nice cool fall breeze. We went out for a little while to enjoy it. I have been working on my layout for UA's Got Talent I'm almost done. I just need to add one more thing. A fellow Willow is sending me to add to my page. I'm loving this layout. Hope you all like it to.
My son has learned to climb on our kitchen chairs then get up on our table! Gotta go get him down again.

Time to Vote Again
Today is a beautiful day here in Pa. The sun is shining and the temperature is 62 degrees. This is a great Fall day. I have been working on my layout for this weeks Urban Anthology's Got Talent Challenge and this week we were to use old paper and a technique. My technique was on bleaching and I have it listed below. If you have a chance PLEASE vote for my layout it is the one under my3blessings. Here is my layout and here is the technique.
Bleaching Technique
Supplies you will need:
Bleach
Cardstock (darker colors work better)
Chalks
Stamps
Glimmer Mist(optional)
First put a little Clorox on a paper towel just enough to make it wet.
Here is what it looks like after you stamp them. Let them dry before chalk them
Then take your stamp and press it on the bleach soaked paper towel.
Then press your stamp on the cardstock.

Then take your chalks and color them. I used several colors on one to make it look more like a real fall leaf.
Then I cut mine out. You can actually just do them on the cardstock or cut them out. Leaving them on your cardstock would be like making your own patterned paper.
Then I used some Glimmer Mist to add a little sparkle.
Here are the finished leaves.
