American Crafts Layouts
Today I'm sharing two layouts using the super fun American Crafts lines Yes, Please! and Mayberry. These layouts feature pictures I love! I took these pictures at our church picnic this summer and loved how they turned out.
This first layout is my daughter and her two besties (they are twins). For this layout I used the Yes, Please! line. I don't know about you but I still love the clothespins trend!
And for this layout I used the Mayberry line. This is a picture of Hannah and her buddy Max.

Destination Found
Happy Thursday to you! It is very HOT here what's it like were you live? I wanted to share a fun layout I created with the July Kit Add-on and the Embellie Add-on. This layout was so fun to create. I started with painting gesso around the circle and then painted some mist around too. I then took some of the twine in the kit and layered around the circle. Lastly I added some brads, frames, and buttons.
Here is my layout using the Kit add-on and the Embellie Kit. I really love those little frames that came in the embellie addon.
Here are some close ups. See how I used the brad that said "Destination Found"?! I add "My Heart".
And inside this little frame I put and "I" for his name.
Thanks so much for stopping! I'm still waiting for the winner to contact me so check below to see if it's you.

I'd love this class because I love embellishments...I may be a little bit obsessed with them! So it would be awesome to learn fun new ways to use them. July 9, 2013 at 10:57 PM

Citrus Twist July Reveal
It's the 12th so that means Citrus Twist has a new kit!! I worked with the "Travel" Kit Add-on this month. This kit my be titled "travel" but I honestly didn't make one travel layout. So don't let that name scare you lol.
Here is my layout using the Kit add-on only. As soon as I saw the cute little mouse tag I knew I wanted to do a layout with my little sleeping man.

A Very Exciting Giveaway and some Exciting News!!
About a year ago I had a vision for an online class. So I contacted Big Picture Scrapbooking and ran my idea by them. They accepted the idea and from there the process began. Here I am months later getting to share with you my first self paced class called "Simply Playful Accents"!! I still can't believe this is real and am so excited for you all to take this class.
Here is what the class is about:
Simply Playful Accents
Easy embellishing ideas for scrapbook layouts
Stitching, and sequins, and ribbon...oh my!
Would you like to add a bit of fun and whimsy to your layouts? What if you could do it in a way that was not only fun and playful, but also simple! In Simply Playful Accents, instructor Angie Gutshall will share more than 20 ideas for using items in your supply stash to add a little bit of pizazz to your layouts.
You'll receive 20 emails with before-and-after images, each showing how just adding a little accent here and there can take your layouts from blah to beautiful! You'll also receive four bonus emails with additional ideas and inspiration. Angie even shares her layout-creating process in a fun video tutorial!
Now doesn't that class sound fun?! I hope you will take this class and it's self paced so you can work on it when you have time.
And since it's my class I get to give a seat away!! So leave me a comment telling me what you think you would like about this class. You have till Friday July 12th to comment.

Citrus Lane Review for June
I know this is a non scrapbooking post but I just had to share my review of this fun little box of goodies I received from a company called Citrus Lane. This is like a kit club only it's for your kids. You get a box each month filled with products for your child. You tell them your child's age and gender and they customize the box for them. I did this for Isaiah and it arrived days after he was born. I have a link below were you can get a discount for your first box :)
Here is a picture of the box as I opened it up.
The first item was an adorable hat from Iplay. This hat is so cute and perfect for summer.
Next was a fun tub toy called Odd Ducks. He is so cute and ALL my kids loved him.
I really love this cream from Eric Carle. It doesn't have much of scent but really worked on his dry newborn skin.
I have not tried this cream yet but I'm sure it's great. It's a skin cream and a diaper cream.
And lastly in each box comes a little something for mom. I used this on my feet and love how it made them so soft. And the scent is so yummy!
Thanks for taking the time to check out my review. If you decide to try a box I would love for you to use this link and you will get $10 off your first box. http://ctrus.me/ccWT
