Good morning! Today I wanted to share my take on this weeks sketch over at Elle's Studio. This is a picture of Hannah running to her daddy when he got home from work.Love lots of layers.

I machine stitched the big circle and some lines on this layout.


I used a Sassfras flower and a fun banner from Elle's Studio.

Sleepy Baby

Good Morning!!! Today is another gorgeous day here is PA! Loving this weather!

Today I wanted to share a layout I did with the gorgeous March Add-on from The Paper Bakery (available in 2 day!). When I opened the kit and saw this gorgeous paper from MME I knew I wanted to use it jut like it was. So I measured the squares and printed my pictures to fit.

I then took the newspaper included in the kit and cut out some hearts.

I also used the fun SC chipboard banner pieces in one of the squares.

And here I used the MME transparenties as a accent instead on a photo.

Happy Birthday to my baby girl Faith!!

Today my first baby turns 7!! Wow where has the time gone?! I made this layout to document the day! She is very smart, and yet very stubborn. She is very thoughtful, yet still has to be boss. She is super sweet, yet has a little spice to her. She is my baby girl and I can't believe she is 7 already.

I used the new March Paper Bakery kit. I fussy cut the big "adore you" from another sheet of paper and loved it on here. See the background piece it is a sheet of vintage newspaper that is in the kit. How fun it that?!
Aren't those tags co cute?!

Here I used the piece you would throw away from the border punch and added a cut paper clip for fun.
Love the gorgeous red ribbon.

You & Me

Good Morning! Today I wanted to share a layout I made for The Paper Bakery using the gorgeous March kit. And I'm not kidding this kit is so full of pretty papers and fun, unique embellishments. This layout is me & my hubby. I also used the March sketch #1 too.


I love the cute overlays that are included. I cut mine up and put them over patterned paper and loved how it turned out.
And these cute banner pieces from Studio Calico are so fun.
MME has some cute tags and this one fits perfectly for this layout.

Mini Album using Hambly

Good Monday Morning! Today I wanted to share my a tutorial I did for Hambly Studio. This is a mini album in a jewelery box.


So how many of you have the little cardboard box jewelery comes in just sitting around? Well if you do you could turn them into a mini album holder.

Here is my box. This one slides inside the cover but you could use the ones with a lid.



Next you cover the top and bottom piece.

Then I measure the inside and cut a 12 x 12 stripe to fit inside. I then fan folded the paper.

Then come the fun part of decorating the cover:

And decorating the inside. I just adore the new papers from Hambly (they will be available in a few weeks).

So it's a rainy day here and I got to work on the new Elle's Studio sketch. I used some Basic Grey Picadilly paper and of course some Elle's Studio tags.
My title is "race you". They had so much fun!
I took and folded the banners a little on the edges to make them look "real".
I used the new Jenni Bowlin ticket punch.
