I'm so excited to get to share with you my first Project Life spread. I have been wanting to do Project Life for sometime now and just haven't done it. So when this amazing opportunity to work with one of Becky Higgins's Exclusive Core Kits came to me, I jumped at the chance. I have to note "This post is part of a paid campaign with American Crafts, but all opinions are my own."
So Project Life for me is so simple because it requires these simple little cards, your photos, and a pen to journal. Also anyone can do this, even if they have never scrapped a day in their life.
I'm not sure if you know this but Michael's carries one of the largest selections of Project Life, including two exclusive core kits and some exclusive albums.
I'm working with the Vintage Travel Core Kit for this PL spread. The Vintage Travel Kit has some deep blues, reds, and brown. Also there are some fun maps, planes, trains, and cute sayings. It can be used for more than travel in my opinion.
The other exclusive kit is Dear Lizzy 5th & Frolic. This features light blues, pinks, yellows, & green. Also the cards have cute foxes, houses, keys, ect.
For this PL Page I wanted to document our weekend we traveled to the zoo and then to my family for Christmas in July.

Now for a fun giveaway! I'm giving away a sample pack of one of each card that comes in this Exclusive PL Core Kit. So leave me a comment by Friday June 9th and I will pick a winner.
I want to thank you for stopping by my blog and reading about my Project Life page.
Your PL pages looks awesome! I haven't tried PL yet, but I'm thinking that I should try it as the spreads every one is showing looks amazing! Thanks for the opportunity to win those cards! :)

ReplyDeleteLove it! I hadn't really liked Vintage Traveler initially because of the all the dark colors....but it looks fantastic with the bright colors in your pictures!
ReplyDeleteWow love your layout! I would love to win those cards! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful layout! I haven't really *loved* the Vintage Traveler line in the preview images that I've seen, but actually seeing it in your pages, I actually understand and love how it works! Thank you for sharing your beautiful pages with us! Can't wait to see more of your creations. =D
ReplyDeleteI just started PL this year and love seeing how others do theirs. Yours is beautiful, yet simple. Love it. Thanks for a chance to win some of the cards.
ReplyDeleteI have never tried Project Life but it looks like a great way to document daily activities!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun pages! I'm scared of PL, but have been trying a PL style type of scrapbooking with my daughter this summer. It's been pretty fun!
ReplyDeleteI think you may be one if my favorite PL'ers
ReplyDeleteI love your pages
Great pages. I wish my local Michael's had the Vintage Travel kit. They have only the bare essentials of PL. I like how you used the travel cards for everyday. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat job of mixing things up with everyday pictures! I love project life :)
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I don't do PL, my kids are older and I don't think I'd have stuff to put in. But it looks like a great system to keep your memories safe :) I like the idea of doing it for a travel album i.e. our recent trip to VEgas... something for me to think about. Thanks for the chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance, Angie. :) As we get ready to head to South Africa, I can see lots of uses for that kit. :)
ReplyDeleteCarmen.
I love your spread. I just started doing PL and I am doing it monthly. Thanks for sharing!
