Layouts and Swimming

Today was my daughter's first day off school. Yeah!! She got to sleep in and I got to stay in my pjs longer:)
Here is another layout I did using the July kit from Sweet Peach Crop Shop. I did a lot of hand stitching on this layout.


We went to my sisters swimming today. The kids had fun! You'll see these pictures in upcoming layouts! I love summer pictures!

I just wanted to share a layout I did using the July Sweet Featured Kit at Sweet Peach Crop Shop. I just love these papers from Girls Paperie. My son turned 4 last week so I interviewed him and scrapped the interview. In the envelope is a letter I wrote to him. I used ink to distress the paper to give it an old look since the farm in the background had an old look. Thanks for looking.

Sweet Peach Crop Shop Blog Hop

I got to work with the Sweet Featured July Kit which features the awesome papers from The Girl's Paperie On Holiday line. I love the colors!
In your kit you will get a bottle of Glimmer Mist. I chose to work with it.

First I cut out some splashes from scrap paper.


Then I placed them around my photos.


Then I toke the photos off and Glimmer Misted.


Here is the finished layout. I took the diecut layout and cut out the middle and used it as a border. I used the comments in the thickers as splashes. The clear stickers are from the add on kit and the ticket I journaled on is from the add on.


The Red star ribbon is our arm bands.


I wanted to share another layout with you using the July Kit. I decided to scrap my process of making jelly. I dipped the flowers in Raspberry juice. Then in the envelopes you get I add the jelly recipe. I also used the Glimmer Mist on the envelopes.

Ty's Bday and Challenge Layouts

Good Morning! Today is my son Ty's Birthday! He is 4 today and Thursday we are taking him to a park. I worked on some layouts the other day for a challenge over at new site I found called Paper Poppy Kit. The first challenge is one that was fun and I found some cute pictures. They challenges us to go to Mary Engelbreit site and pick a picture to use as inspiration. I picked this one:

Father's Day Album

Here is a mini album I made for my hubby for Father's Day. I used the new June kit from Citrus Tree Studio. I love this kit it is perfect for this project. I left some blank pages to add some more photos later. Thanks for looking :) Have a Great Father's Day!

Wednesday and Some Challenge Layouts

Hello! I have been very busy working on some layouts for some challenges over at Citrus Tree Studio. The first layout I did was for Tricia's Designer Choice challenge. We were to use 3 or more photos. I just love these pictures of my son Noah eating pizza.


This was for Pam's Card Challenge. You had to do a card for a male and it had to be horizontal. I needed a challenge like this to remind me to to a Father's day card.


This layout I did for Patti's Technique challenge. You were to use crackle paint. I had fun painting my flower.


Then over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop I posted a new challenge on the blog for Wednesday's Word. The word is "DAD". This is a layout of the kids helping their dad plant flowers. I used the June Sweet Featured Kit. Hope to see more Dad layouts linked by Wed. June 23.
