Gift Idea ~ Pamper Set in a Jar

Hello!  Today I want to share another fun gift idea!  This gift idea I used last year for my children teachers and this year I created them for my friends. 



Fist you need a jar.  This year I used a wide mouth pint jar and last year I used a large quart jar.  I then took some American Crafts Ribbon and placed in the bottom of the jar.  One thing about using ribbon it can be reused by the one receiving the gift.



I then filled the jar with a mini lotion, nail polish, lip balm, and mini hand sanitizer.  You could add cute Christmas socks, finger nail file, candy, ect.

I then covered the tops of the jar with patterned paper from American Crafts Christmas line. Added some embellishments and a tag.

Gift Week ~ Stained Glass Jars for Kids

Today we are continuing our gift week!  And today I'm sharing a fun gift for your kids to make and give to family.  I'm actually helping my son's class make these for their family at his Christmas party at school.

First you wash and clean off the sticky glue from the baby jar.  Then I cut little squares out of tissue paper. You will need Glossy Mod Podge for a clear coat under and on top.



I placed the Mod Podge all over the jar.



Then I placed tissue paper all over.  You can over lap because you will be applying another coat of Mod Podge.



Here is a picture of the second coat of Mod Podge going on. It will dry clear.



After the jar is dry I tied a ribbon around the top and place a battery tea light inside.

American Crafts Neighbor Gift

Good Morning! This week I want to share gift ideas with you! Today I want to share a fun Neighbor gift I created with the American Crafts line Autumn Crisp.  You can also see this posted on the AC blog last week.

For this gift I used a wooden crate and filled it with paper filler then added my jars.  I decorated the tops of the jars and also the front of the crate.  We can in the summer and love to share what God has blessed us with.  Here you see peaches, raspberry jelly, green beans, and spaghetti sauce.

Elle's Studio Decmeber Kit Reveal

This month I got to play with the December Main Kit and Embelli Add-on. My favorite color is green so this kit made my day!!  Here are my layouts.  These are some of my favorite layouts ever ;)

This layout is using the Main Kit Only.  I just love my son's chubby legs and love seeing him grab his toes.

This layout is using one of my favorite pictures.  I just love how this picture turned out.  You all know how hard it is to photograph little ones well five little ones is almost impossible lol!

Citrus Twist November Layouts

I'm here today to share my Citrus Twist Kits November layouts with you.  I worked with the November Kit Add-on and Embelli Kit.

I love how this layout turned out! I just started with cutting multiple squares and rectangles and placing them all over.

 
This layout is using the Kit Add-on only. This is my baby boy at 3months.

Just wanted to share my American Crafts gallery layouts with you! I used the Amy Tangerine line Cut & Paste for both my layouts.

This layout is about the first time Isaiah slept through the night (and last lol).  He really needs to learn to sleep through the night.

November Kit from Elle's Studio

It's the 10th and you know what that means?...The new kit from Elle's Studio is released!  There were so many options with this kit I had a hard time deciding which tags to use.  There are some Christmas, Thanksgiving, everyday, and even a Black Friday tag!  There are also Digital Cuts for November.

I decided to go with an everyday layout.



I used cut the circle out of the vellum tag.  And I just love the that cute tag you can check mark.



And this fun tag with a "grateful" tab how sweet is that?!



And here is another tag I cut the end off so I could put it on the side.
