Tiramisu For Two

I just had to share this fun easy recipe!  My hubby and I love tiramisu so when I found the recipe from Kraft I figured it didn't hurt to try.  It was delicious and is super easy to make!

What you need

12 NILLA Wafers, divided

2 Tbsp.  hot water

1 tsp.  MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee

2 JELL-O Vanilla Pudding Snacks

1/4 cup  thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

1 tsp.  unsweetened cocoa powder

How to make it:

RESERVE 2 wafers for later use. Coarsely crush remaining wafers; spoon into 2 dessert dishes.
MIX water and coffee; drizzle over wafer crumbs.
TOP with pudding, COOL WHIP and cocoa powder. Garnish with reserved wafers.

I had some time on this rainy day to scrap so I decided to work on the Jillibean Soup Sketch.   I like all the stripes of paper and decided to play with that.  I went for making fun shapes.  Love the fun colors of fall don't you?!

 My journaling on on the tag.  The kids had off school last Friday so I took them to play and we found some fun leaves.

Elle's Studio Blog Hop!!

Today we are celebrating the release of Elle's Studio's two new lines for Autumn and Christmas: Spooky Tales and Be Merry! They are hitting the stores this week and you can also get them at their website now!

The Spooky Tales line works great for Autumn/Fall AND Halloween! And, the Be Merry line is perfect for Christmas layouts, cards, and would work great for your December Daily! And as a
bonus, with both lines they've also worked in tons of tags that are perfect for Project life!

Fall is my favorite time of year so when I opened my package of Spooky Tales I feel in love with the colors! Rich fall colors!  And the Christmas is such a pretty traditional color which is what I like!

Here's a little peek of something I created for the October gallery that is debuting on October 1st - Supplies I used in this sneak peek are: Spooky Tales Tidbits and you can see up top a little peek of the Spooky Tales 4x6 card I cut the top off.

Our Favortie Spot

Every year we go to Busch Gardens and Water Country.  At Water Country my kids LOVE "Hubba Hubba Highway"!  It a lazy river that you put on a life jacket to float around.  There is a current that carries you around the river.  As summer approaches they always ask if it's time to go yet.

I created this layout with Pretty Little Studio's new "Sandcastle" collection.

Tree Hugger

Here is a fun layout I made mixing some older and newer Jillibean Soup.  I love how they look good together.  I love this fun picture I captured of my son climbing in a tree. He got up there and didn't want to come down.  I like how the woodgrain paper was great for the background of my layering.

Centennial Park

On our trip to Georgia this summer we went down town to the Olympic Centennial Park.  The kids couldn't wait to run through the fountains.  When we got there it was closed till 1 o'clock so we waited.  I love this picture I captured of Ty staring in amazement of the rings and water just as it started to come out.  For this layout I used the September Citrus Twist kit. 

 I had fun layering all my papers.

American Crafts

Refreshing

The new kit from Gossamer Blue debut this weekend!!  It is absolutely gorgeous!!  I had a blast with all the fun colors!  You know me I love color!  (sorry kit is already sold out but you can get on a wait list)

And here is my layout "Refreshing".  I love the all the blues in this kit!  This is a picture of my daughter's feet playing in our hose.

A New Norm

While football season has started and if your a mom of player you know they take this game seriously.  We have practice 4 days a week!  And games on the weekends.  This is my sons first year but he loves it so I we will be seeing this every year at this time.   I used Elle's Studio new tags "The Daily Life" and the new stamps.  Check out the new gallery that just went live this weekend!

Waiting My Turn

Today is reveal day over at Elle's Studio.  I just wanted to share one of my layouts I created for this months gallery.

On this layout I used the Brand New Tags "The Sweet Life".  I love these tags so much! The story behind this picture is she LOVES the tire swing and as you can see in the background her brother was on it so she was trying to wait patiently for her turn.
